The previous LVT flooring (installed by another contractor) was only a year or two old when the customer noticed soft spot starting to occur in the entry way. Upon demo we found the subfloor was completely rotten and wasn’t addressed during the initial install. After removing the rotten subfloor we installed all new to ensure this problem wouldn’t happen again. Subfloor prep is key and assessing damage is the backbone for longevity for floor life!
